Thorpe (Alpha build)
A downloadable game for Windows
City-Builder and community management game.
Currently in Alpha stage, looking for player feedback in order to flesh out existing features.
What's in the game?
- 3 levels of housing
- Crop fields and animal pens
- Basic businesses and gathering places
- Melee and bow combat
- Raiders (must be spawned manually)
- Wandering merchants (must be spawned manually)
- Local market
- Thievery and basic version of justice system
- Trade with other settlements
- Council positions (only Reeve is functional)
- Save and Load functions

Install instructions
Simply extract the zip file anywhere on your computer and run Thorpe.exe to launch the game.
When the game begins you'll be presented with the map creation menu, you must complete the following steps before starting the game:
1- Select the map type, this will influence the size of mountains and if a river is present
2- Select the scenario type, this will only influence starting conditions such as commerce activity, raider activity, population and the number of nearby settlements to trade with
3- Randomize your starting Lord
Once this has been completed the Start Game button should be enabled.
